Sweet Pea Linens began manufacturing table linens in 1996. Having a round table we found it very difficult to find placemats that didn't hang over the edges of the table. We developed the wedge shaped placemats, which fit beautifully on the table. We felt that if we needed specially designed placemats for our round table, other people must need them as well. After much marketing, in 1994 we sold our product to a well known catalog. The response was very good and they began ordering on a regular basis. The business expanded to add additional catalogs and in 2002 we began hiring sales representatives, which now sell our products in various parts of the United States. With this expansion we have added the traditional rectangular placemats, cushions, and other tabletop accessories. We pride ourselves on the fact that all our products are manufactured in America. We also strive to keep our products in stock for immediate delivery to our customers.
